Mark Walker:
Kendo looks easy when you first watch someone skilled demonstrating it. But when you first attempt some basic moves yourself, you realise quickly that to do Kendo well requires a lot of practice. I think this is true for anything that is worth doing, if it was easy, there would be no challenge and no point in attempting it. After a few weeks, the movements start to feel a lot more natural and it becomes quite satisfying to try and perfect some of the cuts. Kendo also helps your posture a lot by making you aware of how you should be standing.
